I have always been interested in fast cars, and currently own a Grand Prix White 1990 Porsche 928 S4. I have set it up for open road racing, with a rollcage, 5 point harnesses, fire suppression system, and (Y) rated tires (186+ mph max). Before the S4 I owned a Light Blue Metallic 1981 Porsche 928, which I drove and worked on for several years. This site contains information about these cars and what I have done with them. I am not an expert 928 mechanic, and any information on this site is by no means the last word on the 928. I do want to thank Marc, Susan, Jim, and Brad from DEVEK, Tim Murphy, Greg Brown, Jim Morton, and Bill Ball for all their technical assistance. Even though I have the 928 Service Manuals and assorted other references, their real world experience has been the best resource.

I should say that this is a non-commercial site, I'm not trying to sell anything, just provide information about the 928. I've include many sample scans from books, magazines, and brochures that I own. I can't include high resolutions scans of the complete documents because of copyright laws. To see the whole document, you'll need to look at the original source (sorry).

As of January 5th, 2005, this site has over 11,321 html pages, 18,481 images, 50 videos, and has had over 1,051,536 unique page hits.

In August of 2007 I was forced to move the site from sis125.berkeley.edu and set up a new domain, 928.jorj7.com. During the next couple of months I moved all the pages and images to the new site. I'll continue to update the site as I have time. I hope you enjoy the web site.
